For talented and serious students of dance ages 8-18, The Dallas Conservatory (TDC) offers world-class training and performance opportunities to prepare for a possible professional career.
Students are selected by audition for their professional potential and mental readiness to embark on the vigorous training required to turn passion into a profession. Auditions are held three times annually.
TDC TRAINING PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
Dance students must train for 9-15+ weekly hours.
Required classes: (3) ballet, (1) contemporary, (1) jazz, and electives to equal minimum hours for age.
Electives include: Hip hop, Broadway dance, acro, tap, and singing + acting.
Weekly hour training minimums:

|13 yrs old||15 hrs|
Off-campus PE is available.
Students may request to follow a Ballet track or Musical Theater for Dancers track. Please inquire.
- Students will be excused for professional dance/theatre or mandatory school commitments.*
- Students must not miss any class more than three times per semester.
- Students will receive an assessment at the end of each semester.
