JEREMY DUMONT is one of DFW’s most sought-after director/choreographers. He began his professional career at age 13 when he was cast in the national tour of The Music Man. He moved to NYC to pursued a professional career, and attended New York’s American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Immediately after college he was cast in the international tour of West Side Story, touring for two years in countries including Japan, China, Singapore, France, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and Chile.
Often likened to old school performers such as Gene Kelly and Mickey Rooney, Jeremy has appeared as leading and featured actor performer in numerous American regional productions at top theaters. Locally, his professional stage work includes roles at Lyric Stage, Casa Manana, Dallas Theater Center, Theatre Three, Garland Summer Musicals and Dallas Children’s Theater.
Jeremy is also a top working choreographer, director and teacher, having taught and choreographed at numerous theaters and schools across the country. Locally his choreography credits include The Music Man and 42nd Street for Garland Summer Musicals, the regional premiere of The True Story of the Three Little Pigs at Dallas Children’s Theater, and Casa Mañana where he was their long-time Resident Director and Choreographer of productions including Seussical, Hairspray, Oliver and the Apprentice Program’s The Secret Garden
